Third Crow - The Denial (1998)
Hard rock/metal that you can sing along to and really enjoy. This cd has got great crisp clear production and music to match! The music on here is along the lines of '80s melodic hard rock/metal and if they were signed to a label would possibly be opening for a secular (reunion) tour right now! A lot of talent is shown here. Catchy guitar hooks and sing-along choruses abound. It's not all over the top or glammed out, it's just almost a perfect mix. Killer guitar leads, "big rock" drumming, and vocals that are just an octave below getting annoying! The vocals do fall somewhere in the category of the "Vince Neil" style but it all comes together great with great "gang" shouts on tracks like "Chasing The Wind". The lyrics are in your face for the gospel! telling stories of lost people finding the one true hope... JESUS! I highly recommend this for fans of Bloodgood, Van Halen, Whitecross, (snakes era) Bride, Motley Crue, and even EnuffZnuff. -- Review by Norm
