Saint - Saint (double disc re-issue 1998)
This is a two disc re-issue containing all three of Saint's original releases from the late 1980's, "Too Late for Living", "Times End" full-lengths and "Warriors of the Son" ep. All in all you get 24 tracks on this gem. This is straight up, in your face heavy metal! The music and vocals are VERY remniscent of Judas Priest. The Rob Halford vocal style is unmistakeable. The music is great classic metal that, although Priest-ish, does have original style and sound. This is also good driving music, as it reminds me of my teenage years cruising the main drag with the metal radio show turned up full blast! The original 3 recordings (all included here) are also being released individually through Armor Records. -- Review by Norm
