Once Blind - Made Complete (2000)
Rescue Records latest sensation Once Blind is being promoted as a "rapcore" band but musically they are way more hardcore than rap. The guitars are heavy and downtuned with a lot of groove, crunch and thrash influences and the drums sound tight and full with a lot of punch. The vocals are mostly rapped on the verses then a hardcore scream is implemented on the choruses. If I had to make a comparison I would say this disc is like P.O.D. meets Six Feet Deep! All in all this is a great disc with some metal elements to it and I believe that fans of hardcore and rapcore alike can enjoy this all out moshfest of mayhem! -- Review by Norm
