This is power/glam at it's best! This long out of print cd was recently reissued by the band themselves and all I can say is "it's about time"! It's sad to see something this good go unnoticed. Every song on here is good. Holy Soldier, being one of the first pioneering Christian metal bands, followed the lead of Stryper blending accessible pop melodies with sincere metal feelings and lyrics that came from the heart. Vocalist Steven Patrick is one of the finest at his craft with emotional high end vocals that are clear and powerful. The music is second to none with heavy catchy guitar hooks and tremendous lead work. The production is of course also top notch being as this was a major lable release when it first appeared on the market. If you like bands like Crystavox, Stryper, Stone Angel and Bride then this is something you should invest in. -- Review by Norm
