Gryp  - Indecision (1999)

7 string guitars, downtowned chords, emotional vocals, and an abundance of harmonic squeal. Ummmmm .... hardcore? emo? Metal? Let's just call it freakin' heavy! This band is yet another to jump on the Korn/Limp Bizkit bandwagon. They have a label and excellent production but fall a bit short in originality. There are a few tracks that you can't help but love (i.e.: standout cuts are "Ungrateful" and "Real"). Most the songs have that usual whiny "emo" thing going on the verses and then kicks into some serious hardcore screams on the choruses. Lots of catchy choruses and neat little techno segues between tracks.  I would definitely recommend this to fans of the aforementioned bands but if you want the best in this genre go out and get P.O.D. or Travail! --Review by Norm
