Erase - Mental Overload (1996)
Erase is a unique blend of hardcore and sludge filled death metal. "Mental Overload" is just what the title implies, an all out assualt on the senses leaving the listener gasping for air. Heavy downtuned hardcore style riffs that have an accessible groove mixed with midrange death vocals ala Sepultura make this heavy music fans dream. The production is great and the musicianship is tight. It has a bit of a raw feel with a gut level kick that encompasses the true essence of this band.
