East West - The Light In Guineveres Garden (2001)
Although you can hear influences from such artists as P.O.D. and Disturbed, these guys have a unique and original style. The cd showcases a lot of talent and diversity. Ranging from the hardcore guitar riffs of tracks like "Wake" to the modern metal harmonies of "Closure" to the incredible U2-esque ballad "She Cries". The production is top-notch and the sonics are crisp. My only complaint is that some of the songs could have been a bit longer. Overall a great nu-metal disc. -- Review by Norm
