Boanerges - Senales Antes Del Fin (1999)
This is a very well produced and highly talented piece of power metal art. This five-piece band from Argentina, whose name means "sons of thunder", stands out among others in this genre. They are
fronted by female vocalist Gabriela, who handles the
vocals better than most men. Her vocal range is incredible! The songs remind me a lot of what Yngwie Malmsteen and Iron Maiden were putting out back in the late 80s. Catchy
melodies and hooks. Blazing guitar leads. The works. You get the whole package here folks, not a disappointing moment on the entire hour long disc! It has been a real blessing to see more bands come around lately with talent and
integrity to the scene. The only downfall one might possibly find here is that all the lyrics are in Spanish. To me the fact that they are in Spanish is of no concern to the discerning music fan. I have spoke with the band and they
are most definitely singing for the Lord and besides that the music here speaks for itself. Powerful and Majestic. -- Review by Norm
